Wendy originally visited Sheshatshiu in 1969. Thirty-eight years later, in 2007, she was invited to bring her images back. She asked me to come with her. We showed the old pictures to people. In response, many started asking for other old images and films. We started hunting for old images. Many people wanted to start an archive of these pictures and movies in their own community and discussions had already begun on building a cultural center in Sheshatshiu.
