W O R K > Redeclaration
Based on a photograph of the original document, I used a typewriter to type the Balfour Declaration, which stated Britain's intention to create Israel from Palestine. As I typed the document over and over, it began to lose its meaning. I can't get any of my attempts to look exactly like the photograph, though some are closer than others. Here is a random selection.
