**This project is two years in process and is a collaboration with my friend and mentor Wendy Ewald and some of the people in Sheshatshiu, Labrador, Canada. We will be holding a public installation of some of the work from this project in Sheshatshiu and in Goose Bay, Labrador beginning in August 2009. This website is not intended to represent the project overall but rather to give a sense of what we have been making and doing on this project since 2007.
Repatriation of Archival Photographs and Films
We have collected photographs and films made about the Innu and participated in the discussion of building an Innu-owned cultural center in Sheshatshiu.
Banners
Using a collaborative photographic and editorial process with the community, we have selected photographs that will hang in public spaces on the reserve (Sheshatshiu) and in a nearby city (Goose Bay).
